Celebrating five years of new management at Quadra Plast

In May 2019, Sylvain Tassé and Normand Doucet acquired Quadra Plast, offering its founder, Hubert Racine, the opportunity to take a well-deserved retirement. Quadra Plast was, above all, a great team of dedicated professionals eager to contribute to the company's growth.

With no particular knowledge of PVC extrusion, at least in Sylvain Tassé's case, yet having extensive management experience, the challenge of growing a promising company with the collaboration of a devoted team was motivating.

In five years, and through a pandemic, a lot has happened:

• 10% growth in sales annually
• Acquisition of the building and improvement of the facilities in anticipation of team growth
• Investment in employee well-being: work clothes, meals, bonuses, air conditioning in the factory, etc.
• Recruitment of more than 10 international employees
• Acquisition of new equipment, as well as modernization and automation of the factory
• 50% increase in the amount of recycled PVC used in product manufacturing
• Diversification of the industries to which Quadra Plast offers its expertise
• Partnership with CCITB, specifically the mentor network and the industrial network

All this success had to be shared. To give back to the community, over five years, more than $100,000 in donations and time were given to support community organizations:

Quadra Plast now has the wind in its sails and big plans for the future. We can’t wait to see what the coming years have in store for us!
